Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role located in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, for a GIS Specialist. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for managing geospatial data, analyzing and interpreting geographic datasets, preparing maps and visual representations, and contributing to the improvement and maintenance of GIS systems. Additional tasks include working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and proficiency in handling Geospatial Data.
• Proven ability in Data Management and utilizing analytical tools to interpret geographic information.
• Experience in creating, manipulating, and interpreting Maps and other visual geospatial representations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated Analytical Skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in GIS-focused roles and familiarity with advanced GIS software and tools is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Minimum 2 Years of Working Experience In GIS field
